I've bought many of these leads over the years for myself & to give as gifts. Needed to replace one that the thumb trigger of the snap had broken on. Wanted another black one but settled for blue. Didn't notice til it arrived that there was no ring on the handle -- something I frequently used to loop lead over my shoulder when doing off-lead work & for attaching a pick up bag. Handle padding is also thinner on the new blue one than on my others.I bought this leash to take my dog for runs and walks, and so far it's been great!Pros:-Good length (it's the standard length, 5-feet long, which is ideal for me)-I bought the lavender color, and it's really cute, especially with the diamond pattern!-Padding in the hand loop makes it more comfortable to holdCons:-Reflective material isn't very noticeable (I haven't tried it out at night, so maybe it's more obvious then, but it seems pretty subtle, so if you're looking for extra safety and visibility for nighttime/early morning walks, this may not be the leash for you)-Hand loop is very stiff. The padding is comfortable, but I tend to wrap the handle around my wrist and then loop the leash around my hand a few times for extra control or so there is less leash bouncing around when we go for runs. The padding on the handle makes it hard to wrap the leash comfortably around my hand. It's not a deal-breaker, and I've figured out a way to do it comfortably, but just be aware that that padding can be both great and frustrating.All in all, it's a great leash, and I expect it to last for many years!This is a great leash - but I will say that I like it for the reasons that some people do not like it. It is very sturdy and heavier than many other leashes. With time, the stiffness gives, but it is not a flimsy leash by any measure. My aggressive chewer has pulled a little stitching, but has not chewed through the leash, which is key. The reflective, on both sides, is great. The leash is 4 foot, so it's a bit shorter than many common leashes, but when my pup is on leash she needs to be with me and I don't want to keep looping a leash to shorten it. This leash has been through the rain, snow, dirt, mud, and everything else that comes with a puppy and stood up. It also has a very sturdy metal ring on the handle which is great for tying bags or hooking to the counter at the vet. Highly recommended, but do be aware that it is stiff and heavier than many leashes.I've been using this product for 4 months now and the only hint of it's age is a little dirt! This stylish and comfortable leash is sturdy and made of great quality materials. The reflective material has not faded or peeled. The padding on the handle is comfortable and forgiving to the hand of an owner of a dog that likes to lunge after squirrels. I will definitely buy this product again when an update is necessary!This leash was ordered as a replacement for the exact same one - which was used several times a day for 2.5 years and needed replacing only because my dog dragged it through something so smelly not even soaking it in detergent and running it through the wash several times could wash out the stench... I love the sturdiness of this leash, the padded handle is super comfortable and the reflective thread is nicely visible when light shines into it. Such a difference in quality to the pet store chain back up leash I also own! Worth the extra few dollars in my opinion!This leash has been working really great with the same brand halter. Unfortunately, today I started using it with my dog's regular collar and it keeps coming unhooked somehow.It is a beautiful collar and works properly 98% of the time but it is concerning when I am about to open the back gate for a walk and the leash is no longer connected to the dog. I also love the fact that it has reflective abilities for evening/early morning walks.Blueberry Pet collars and leashes are really great. This particular one doesn't seem to reflect at night as well as others in their line of leashes. Otherwise, their collars and leashes are very sturdy, well made, quality material. No fear of anything breaking, tearing or wearing out.Just as stated in the description, this leash is reflective, padded and flat. It's very nice! I am buying a second one. I wash everything that is washable before using it near my dogs just in case there is some chemical remaining from manufacture, such as dyes. There does not seem to be though with this leash.I have 4 dogs (all pretty small!) and these leads are the best leads I have used. The handle is really comfortable to hold - no burns or araes to cut into your hands and the size is great - I prefer a narrow lead (I buy the 1.5cm width) and a good length - I find 1.2m leads just a little too short.The clip is also really sturdy.Looks very smart, very reflective to headlights but pattern incorporates it nicely in the daylight. Only complaint is that the handle is thinner than my last blueberry pet lead so would dig into the hand a bit if your dog pulls.Very happy with this well made product. I bought the matching collar too for my 33kg black labrador - the reflective finish is excellent and lights up really well in the dark when a light hits the lead or collar.Nice soft lead easy to use would have liked the fastened to have been a bit less bulkyWe really like these sturdy dog leads. The padded handles areso comfortable
