It's easy to put on, with the back zipper. Fits my shih tzu perfectly. And I like the built-in external harness, so I don't have to fit his existing harness rings through a hole (which never seems to be in the right place).The best fit for long skinny dog- Portuguese Podengo Pequeno, 10#, 15” chest 12.5” back, 11” neck. The legs fit, and the integrated harness prevents chafing. I can put it on her without help. Its warm.Problems- the back zip is less convenient to put on than chest closure snaps, but, I put her front legs in first, then clip the harness and clip on the leash, then pop in the hind kegs and zip working the zipper pull through the harness clips. The reason I clip on the leash is because the D rings slip through the clips, they are too small, or the webbing is too thin (should be cordura nylon fir security of the dog, but it is just ribbon). The season is ending now and the zipper is starting to catch. I will have to order another one for next year; it is a one-season coat. It is not waterproof or ripstop. As usual with Chinese products the materials description is totally false. No cotton is involved in this product.Those issues were manageable for me, and it is the only coat that properly fit my odd dog. We had to buy a size up, 17” chest 13.5” back and it is a perfect fit. She doesn’t mind putting it on or walking in it. I wonder if the company will fix the quality of materials next year, or if I should buy another one now if they don’t make it again next year. We tried 10 different snow suits!This coat seems to be well made, lightweight and warm. However I bought it for my 9lb Maltease mix dog and it was a little small. She refused to walk in it, she doesn’t have a problem with most coats but this was the first one with legs and I don’t think she was a fan of that either (possibly because it was too tight) I did like the harness on the outside for attaching her leash instead of having to post her regular harness through a little slit like most coats. Overall I liked it and would have kept it if it fit her better.I really love the coat and the coverage it gives my dog. He does not shiver in it, so I assume he is warm in it. My issue is with the material that runs from the D rings to the buckles. The third or fourth time he was wearing the coat, the material came off the D ring. I sewed it back on and it ripped again. The material there is cheap and "shreds". I want to replace the material on both sides so this will not happen again. If the manufacturer would use better material there, this coat would be five stars.It’s cute, but it definitely runs small and was very tight on my Yorky. It also has no give to it it’s very stiff. Though that wouldn’t be as much of an issue if it wasn’t so tight.I gave it a four star because the strap to the clips broke after using it a few times. But the jacket is still dopeBeside the wrong color that showed up.I ordered the red but an orange coat arrived. I still liked the look and over all over fit. The piece where the leash go is weak and easily breaks, water rolls right offTinker is a 5 month old chihuahua. She’s 9.5 inches tall, 11.5 inches long, and about 14 inches around her chest. She’s about 5 lbs of wild child on any given day. She is wearing a sweater underneath this coat, but honestly it would probably fit her just fine without it. I love the fact that I don’t have to worry about putting a harness on her over top of it, because one is already built in. It was pretty simple to put on. I love the color. Most importantly, I watched her walk around the house in it and it honestly did not slow her down. She can move around without limitation. I think it’s a great little coat!Good product but to small for my dog and to expensive to send back in china ?This parka is far better than anything I have found in the pet stores. It fits my Chihuahua perfectly (make sure to look at the measurements, the one I bought fits him like a glove- he was in between 2 sizes so I went up and I am glad I did). I love the pre-attached harness because getting his regular one over winter jackets is impossible. Bonus- The slim cut of the parka and elasticized hem ensures that male dogs do not pee on the fabric!The coat fits my long hair chihuahua perfectly. Lovely color and she is warm. Vinyl writing on harness is marred by the stiching on it. Some letters look like they are peeling. I would return it but dog needs suit for warmth it is a cold snowy winter in Canada.My dog looks super cute in it, but I’m a littleworried about how the zipper will hold up over time. For how expensive it is, I was a little disappointed.The jacket provides good warmth to my puppy, however the harness ripped only after a few days of use, which could be dangerous if my puppy ran free while close to traffic.Also the fabric used for outside & inside is quite flimsy.
