This harness is great! Its very sturdy, the Velcro patches stay on perfectly. The side clip on the band that goes under the dog is very strong and has a sliding "lock" option so it does not unclip unless its "unlocked". Very quick to get on and off. I think that clip is great if your using the handle a lot, it wont break or accidently let go. This fits my dog very well, I had trouble deciding what size to get, I almost ordered the bigger size but glad I didn't. My dog can be hard to size, she is 75lbs but longer and taller then my friends bull mastiff. She is skinny but has a deep chest but a very tucked waist and a neck that fits in a size medium collar, which makes finding a thick enough collar that isn't to big around near impossible (target is the only place where a large fits her neck). I take her hiking a lot and the handle is VERY sturdy and one of my favorite features. I hold on to it for stability for me, and to keep her from falling on spots a bit rough for dogs. Yes, its that sturdy! You can pick your dog up by this thing and it will hold up. I am confident this harness will last for years, and I can change the patches to whatever I want later. It is very very good value for the money. The reflective on the wording is the best I have seen. The D ring on the back is very strong and well sewn in, it works great for attaching a dog seatbelt and strong enough to not rip out if you are in an accident and the dog gets airborn. The ONLY thing I don't really like...my dogs medium length coat can cover the wording sometimes. If you have a long haired dog this wont work for you, it will come up through the triangle sized cutouts and cover the wording to much. This harness is great even as a heavy duty hiking harness if you don't have a dog in training.
